Great days at
Rainsbrook Valley Railway
Over the years, we've enjoyed many wonderful days at our railway. We've hosted parties, public events and special visits from fellow societies - all to share the enjoyment of model engineering and pass on the knowledge! Here are just a few memories of those special events.
Public Running 2026
Our first public running session of the year fell on Easter Sunday. This meant lots of eggs-tra special fun with an Easter trail. The weather held and lots of people had an afternoon of fun, riding our steam and electric trains, enjoying the great outdoors and being with friends and family.
Birthday Parties
We've had lots of lucky boys and girls having a unique birthday party at Rainsbrook Valley Railway this year. They've ridden their own steam and diesel trains, chatted to the friendly drivers and had their party lunch in the sunshine!
Visits from fellow societies
RMES hosts a number of society days as its track caters for a variety of gauges and stock, set in beautiful surroundings.
