Rugby Model Engineering Society Ltd
Founded in 1949, we are passionate about keeping alive our engineering heritage and skills
At Rainsbrook Valley Railway, RMES has created one of the longest ground level and raised miniature railway tracks in the Midlands - all in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside

Our work
RMES is over 70 years old and has over 100 members - all volunteering to help maintain and improve Rainsbrook Valley Railway and promote model engineering. Our members come from around the UK to share their skills and expertise to support RMES and we regularly welcome new members.
For more information on RMES, its activities and how you can support us, you can visit our sister RMES site here.
Help us raise funds for life-saving equipment
We are raising funds to purchase and install a defibrillator and a heated, all-weather external cabinet at Rainsbrook Valley Railway. This ensures the device remains rescue-ready and accessible to any of our volunteers or visitors at all times.

The Rainsbrook Valley Railway Site
In 2021 we extended our 7.1/4 inch gauge ground level track to 1 mile and our raised track now runs for 735 metres. Below is a diagram of our site and tracks.
